Very Active Bill Moyers for President Blog?

Over at Irregular Times, they're giving coverage to a wide range of bloggers who are writing about the potential for a campaign of Bill Moyers for President. That includes this blog, which is linked to as John Nichols, the author of The Genius of Impeachment, writing over at The Nation magazine, says,

"Despite the fact that the journalist and author who has become in many senses the moral voice of the nation did not leap at the opportunity to wade into the swirling political waters of this turbulent moment, the columns sparked an enthusiastic response — hundreds of emails, several websites and a busy Draft Bill Moyers for President weblog"

Gosh, John. We haven't really been that busy. But, thanks anyway. We're still waiting for that enthusiasm to come our way, that campaign without a candidate. Anyone? Anyone?

  • I'm surprised that the Irregular Times article you linked to links to my Myspace page, where I humbly cut and paste some information from Wikipedia in order to spread the word to some of my friends. I wrote a slightly better piece on the Democratic Party blog page, here: http://www.democrats.org/page/community/post/whiteriot/CLbD

  • Bill Moyers for President? Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. But wait, this isn't a joke? Mr. Moyers is a man who belittles others opinions, believes only he knows the truth, while criticizing someone else "... is not entitled to stand in judgment on other people’s bias." Recent address by Bill Moyers after departing PBS. Mr. Moyers is a partisan political commentator masquerading as a journalist. We need someone who can bring us together, inspire us, not exploit our differences.

  • I just found this blog of yours (in fact, I just found out about Bill Moyers through Wikipedia) but I am already enthusiastic about the guy's ideas. He has the sense to realize that the American government has beeen hijacked by corporations and private interest groups for a long, long time, and he is very eloquent about it. Other than that, I don't have anything else to say that has relevance...
